Analytical Answers, Inc., is a laboratory services company which has been operating in the same facility for more than 20 years. AAI is one of the largest independently owned microanalysis, surface characterization and failure analysis laboratories in the United States. AAI's scientists and engineers provide analysis, consulting, forensic analysis and expert witness testimony for hundreds of clients in North America, Europe and the Far East, annually.
Analytical Answers, Inc. performs materials analysis and failure analysis on variety of products including biomaterials, surgical implements, implantable devices, electronics, microelectronics, electromechanical devices, fiber optics, polymers, rubbers, metals, composites, glass and ceramics. We have the capability of handling sample sized from nanograms and micro-particles to very large structures. We also have one of the few X-ray Video Microscopes commercially available for the real time, nondestructive examination of samples.
Analytical Answers, Inc. is a member of the American Council of Independent Laboratories and routinely performs analysis to a variety of military, defense and commercial specifications. Some examples of specifications that we use as analytical guidelines or perform analysis in accordance with include but are not limited to: MIL STD 883, MIL STD 750, IPC 601, IPC 650 and 45208A.
All of AAI's technical and administrative employees sign strict confidentiality agreements. In addition, AAI has individual working confidentiality agreements covering all of the analysis performed for more than 50% of its clients.
AAI welcomes client visits before, during, and/or after analysis. Our staff goes out of their way to provide clients with the information they need when they need it, delivered with a friendly attitude and a genuine desire to help clients solve their materials problems and answer their materials questions. We operate with a fast paced, family atmosphere and treat our visitor clients more like guests than customers.
AAI is conveniently located at the junction of I95 and I93 in Woburn, MA, 12 miles northwest of Boston. We have convenient access from Logan airport via the Woburn (Green color buses) Logan Express buses which leave Logan every half hour between 5:00 am and midnight and arrive at the Woburn terminal less than 1 mile from our lab in 35 minutes. AAI provides an on-call shuttle service between the Logan Express terminal and our lab.
